Mardi Himal Trek – 9 Days: A Peaceful Himalayan Escape
The 9 Days Mardi Himal Trek gives trekkers the opportunity to enjoy a relatively less busy ascending trail as compared to the Annapurna. Situated in the lap of Mardi Himal, this is a comparatively less-explored, shorter trek that offers a great view of the whole of Mardi Himal. Trekking routes pass through rhododendron forests, lesser-known ridges, and villages where trekkers can escape the noise of crowded tourist places.
This trek is shorter than most of the other trekking options, so it is perfect for those who do not have much time. Nevertheless, it is a fulfilling and satisfying process. You will have fresh tracks, a breathtaking look at Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, and Mardi Himal Base Camp, and different terrains on each day of the trek. Also, this 9-day Mardi Himal Route is easy and well-traced to accommodate different fitness abilities and experience levels.
Also, this trek gives you the best opportunity to get closer to the locals. You will trek in simple teahouses, taste Nepali foods, engage with local people, and enjoy the beautiful Mountain View and natural scenery. The Nepal Mardi Himal Trek also provides an opportunity to focus on the traditional way of life in the region as well. Every move adds another layer of relatedness to the earth, to others, and the self. It’s more than hiking; It is a culture exchange disguised in the backdrop of the Himalayan mountains.
Mardi Himal Base Camp trail’s one of the highlight is the view of sunrise over the mountains. One will begin early morning, cross the night walk with stars and get to see sunrise on high summits covered with snow. Finally, the sight of Machhapuchhre seems to radiate a spiritual kind of feeling. The trek provides both the dramatic and the serene, sometimes simultaneously. This trek is a truly unique and off-the-beaten-track trekking experience in Nepal.
